Did I make a mistake? Help!!

Long story short- The only late payment ever in my life- one from American Honda- it was one day late! due on the 20 paid on the 21st however, yes I was late. Tried calling cusitmer service would not take off and I did say that it was only reported to TU put on hold and said that it would be on all three- pulled them and that month (june) says on experian and equifax paid on time- I decided to send gw letter- did i just screw up and now they will report to all three -my tu dropped 54 points   I think I might be sick if this hits all 3. I might

WHOA!!! 1 day late. I didn't even know they could post on CRA 1 day late? Does it say Late, or 30 day late? I have never seen this before for 1 day. I would do some serious complaining with management at Honda.

They have the right to hit you with late fees, but hit your credit reports?

It says 30 day late so technically i guess it was 31 days late, but still I have been paying on time for over 2 years. On the phone there is nothing they will do, but I did send goodwill letter- It is inly on TU but I am afraid that they will now report it to the other 2- can they do that if the all the reports dated 8/16 has an ok green box underneath- why would it only be on tu and not the other 2. not that i am complaining mind you!

I really don't know what kind of damage that will do to your credit score.  1 late two years ago may not be the thing that made your score drop especially if you have been paying on time, unless you don't have much history.
