Difference between 2 FICOs EQ and TU more than 50 points?

I know that EQ and TU will differ on a FICO score. I have the both products here at myFICO and get updated with changes. My cureent score with EQ is 729 and my TU is 672. That's 57 point difference!

Can anyone eplain how this could be? doesn't sound right.

Hi,

Pull your reports from both CRBs and put them side by side. TU is reporting something that EQ isn't.

Also, TU is more sensitive to multiple accounts with balances, even if they are only $3 balances on different cards.  My TU is the lowest of my 3 scores, and always has been.
pattycake's FICOs: 6/2/10 - TU: 708; EX: ???; EQ: 749

Do you have any no preset spending limit (NPSL) cards reporting on both CBR's?

Do you allow balances to report?

I  agree that Tu must be reporting something that EQ is not reporting.  maybe one more account (a duplicatre account)  maybe  that is if there is no negative information reporting.

Whether you have balance reporting or not TU is not more sensitivie than EQ since the final score is calculated by FICO.  assumig you are purchasinf FICO score from here . Now if you purchase a FAKO then the score can vary for many reasons.

look at the total number of accounts to see if  they are the same on each CRA or the balances are the same .

The FICO scores available to consumers based on TU and EQ CBR's are computed using different models. There are important differences. So what you say above may in some circumstances not be correct.

Re: Difference between 2 FICOs EQ and TU more than 50 points?

Alright so I have Credit Check Total with EX that gives me all CRs EQ, TU and EX (and FAKOs which I don't really care about). I did notice a discrepency - TU is behind in posting all my balances and 1 month behind in reporting a late at that! so for 1 cc I have 24 months of good reporting on EQ and EX then with TU I have  23 months and the 24th month a late showing - that must be it! why do they report late?

Does CCT include the "Reported" date? Are you sure about the balances?

There is no problem with the "Payment History". That's just the way it is reported.

I can't see that is does a 'reported' date. I know my Barclay card reports balances around the 24th so I am expecting a jump soon. Also I just checked my TU report through here as well and it also has not yet reported september therefor leaving 1 late within the past 2 years on. So when it updates I expect another jump Smiley Happy

I will report back in a bout a week and see what happens - - - >
