Discrepancies between inqueries on MyFico and Equifax

I've recently run my credit both through Equifax and here (Score Watch).

There seems to be a discrepancy between inqueries reported.

Equifax resports that Comcast ran my credit on April 2nd. To be clear, this is listed under the section of inqueries that may effect score. It's not listed under the non-affecting section.

MyFico doesn't have this listed (as of today).

Since this was two months ago I assume that's sufficient time to update to MyFico?

Any thoughts?

Also, Equifax lists a number of inqueries from 2007. None of these show up on MyFico.

Why not?

Do they no longer affect score?

Again, I am only comparing the section of Equifax that lists score which may effect credit to those listed on MyFico. I am not including those which don't effect credit.

Re: Discrepancies between inqueries on MyFico and Equifax

Reports from here will only show inquiries from the last 12 months.

I am not sure about the April 2nd inquiry, as to why it isn't reporting here.

Thanks.

Do inqueries older than 12 months affect one's score?

Nope.

Also, be sure that when you're looking at your full report pulled from Equifax (or from TU or EX, for that matter), that you understand which are the hard inqs and which are the softs. Sometimes sliding up and down the screen will get you confused.

I like EQ's reporting format, which shows the type of soft inq. -AR or -AM for account review or account maintenance with current lenders, -PR for promotional softs (a much more limited release of data), etc.

FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007
