Confused, the answer is that it has no affect whatsover on a dispute. Disputes are made directly to the CRAs, and credit report vendors and score retailers have nothing at all to do with that process.
The only reason for maintaining the credit report service is that it will enable you to continue to pull your CR, and thus monitor prgress of the dispute, but the CRA must telll you that directly, once a dispute is filed. So not a concern.
