Dispute at one causes delete at other two as well?

Hello, I had an erroneous collection account on my credit report and set out to dispute it but only got around to doing it with TransUnion. I got the results back that it had been deleted from my CR from TransUnion. I went to the Equifax and Experian sites to dispute with them but the account is now gone? How could this be? I heard the Credit Reporting agencies don't share info. Is what I heard wrong or would the collection agency have asked for the delete from the other two when TransUnion queried them on the dispute? I'm obviously not complaining!... Just trying to understand. Thanks, Troy

Are you sure it was listed on all 3 to begin with?
