Dispute "charged-off" and "collections"

Hi ALL!, my first post! woot! Smiley Very Happy

my question is,

I noticed that I have a couple "charged-off" and "collection" accounts on my CR that has an expected date removed on the 4th, 6th, and 9th month of this year. Should I still try to dispute these accounts or just wait till it expires off my CR?

Re: Dispute "charged-off" and "collections"

If they are valid debts and you have no basis for your dispute (any incorrect information / amounts / etc) no one will advise you to dispute them as it would be against the TOS of this forum. Disputing them just to get them off your CBR isn't ethical, and it may also result in the creditor "bear" being poked. They may then try to come after you before the statute of limitations on the debt expires.

Has the debt bee paid, or do they remain unpaid?

CR exclusion does not address the issue of satisfaction of the debt, so waiting for CR exlcusion will only address their continued showing in your CR.
