Dispute successful but score the same? why?

installment account opened in 2006 and then purchased by another lender. disputed account with 14 late payments (a few 30, most 60 days late , and 1 or 2 90 days late)......account was DELETED and i was sent a new copy of my CR but i checked my score and it is the same.

14 late payments being deleted should have cause some kind of jump especially since the account was recent. why hasnt it caused a change?

Re: Dispute successful but score the same? why?

Maybe not enough time for score to update? Could take up to 10 days after delete if you use SW. Did you buy a Score Power? Do you have other accounts that have negative remarks? If you have a few others you might have hit the max loss and removing 1 account did not have an impact. However I think if you are using SW for scores you probably need to wait until something triggers a SW alert to update score.
