Disputed item reappeared...What do I do?

A few months back I disputed a 30 day late payment.  It was deleted (actually part of the tradeline was deleted) and my score jumped.  I just pulled my newest 3-in-1, and the 30 day late payment is back (minus tradeline showing my good payment history).  I tried calling the lender, but they're refusing the correct the 30 day late.  What should I do?

Here's what happened.  I had a payment due Feb 1, 2007.  Due to oversight on my part, I did not pay it until Feb 28, 2007, and it posted March 2, 2007 --that's 29 days late (entered into a duration calculator online).  Anyway, the girl at spoke w/ at the lender says they report at the end of every month a late --not 30 days, but the rule is 30 days not a month late --THERE'S A DIFFERENCE.

Anyway, looking for some opinions out there on what I should do.  Thanks in advance!

If the 30 day late was the only derog on the TL I would start with a GW to the lender asking them to remove and re-report your entire good history.

Because you had it removed earlier under dispute and they did not update at that time, I believe re-insertion rules apply here by the CRA and they would have had to notify you.  If they did not, they have to remove that again.  Reason I don't suggest you go that way first is because I'm concerned that they will wipe all good history too.
