Need some advice and opinions of you guys and gals. I just got copies of my credit report for all 3 agencies and there are some things on there that shouldnt be.
Will the below be an acceptable format to use to dispute inquires?
Also, I understand what a hard inquiry is and soft inquiry, but I'm confused on Account Review Inquiries? Is that something that needs addressed?
Thanks in advance and I look forward to yalls guidance!
Re:  Unauthorized Credit Inquiry
    XYZ,
I recently received a copy of my Experian credit report.  The credit
report showed numerous credit inquiries by your company that I did not
authorizing. The dates are listed as 8/10/14, 11/09/13 and 11/09/13.
I understand that you shouldn't be allowed to put an
inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it.  Please have this
inquiry removed from my credit file because it is making it very
difficult for me to acquire credit.
I have sent this letter certified mail because I need your prompt
response to this issue.  Please be so kind as to forward me
documentation that you have had the unauthorized inquiry removed.
If you find that I am remiss, and you did have my authorization to
inquire into my credit report, then please send me proof of this.
   Thanking you in advance,

Thanking you in advance,
If these are soft pull inquries then you do not dispute them as no one sees them but you, it is legal and industry practice for creditors to review your profile on a monthly or other schedule of their choosing (AR soft pulls). You would only dispute a hard inq if in fact it was a fraudulent inquiry (one not auth by you by an app for something).. These days companies run credit for just about anything and its all legal.

They are hard pulls which I did not authorize. There's a promotional pull for ATT and then under that are the Account Review Inquiries. On a different credit report its stating the Account Review Inquiries shouldnt have an impact.
I'm just not sure if any particular law needs to be quoted or if that will suffice.
Thanks again
Your letter is addressed to the party who made the inquiry, and thus is a direct dispute.
Credit inquiries are exempted from the direct dispute process. See 15 CFR 660.4.
If you wish to persist in a dispute, you must dispute via a CRA under the provisions of FCRA 611(a).
As stated, the basis for a dispute if the inquiries were internal account reviews or promotional inquires would not be that you did not authroize them, but rather that they should be coded as soft pulls.
Soft pulls are not seen by others, and thus have no effect on your credit.
