Disputing Joint Accounts?

Should joint accounts be disputed separately (one letter for each co-signer), or can they be done together (one letter for both co-signers?

Re: Disputing Joint Accounts?

They should be seperate, one from each of you regarding that particular account to whichever of the 3 bureaus it is reporting on.

So, each of you proceed as if this was an individual account if that makes sense.

Re: Disputing Joint Accounts?

We disputed separately on a joint account my wife and I had with Citibank which was discharged in CH7 BK. (This was not an authorized user situation.)

They verified mine to all 3 CRAs and deleted hers at all 3.

There are a few threads within the past 24 hours regarding disputes and BK that might be helpful if you need to re-attempt to fix that.
