Disputing -score dropping?

I started disputing some collections on my credit report.  I went on line yesterday and did an online dispute on 4 collections.  My score dropped on all three CRA overnight by as much as 20 points.  What is going on?

Re: Disputing -score dropping?

It's possible these accounts fell off or an account fell off with these disputes. If deleted off your report, you score could drop if that account contributed to a higher average age. Same happened to me. Accts deleted but they were my oldest and my avg. age dropped from 6 yrs to 4 yrs overnight. And adding new accts dropped that even further.

Ignore FICO during open disputes.

Starting Score: EQ 773, TU 766
Current Score (2/25/2017): EX 813, EQ 823, TU 818
Goal Score: 800

As far as FICO scoring goes, collections and public records never factor in average-age of accounts and credit history length. Something else must have changed. Are these collections yours? Are they paid?
