Do I have too many inquiries?

Please help FICO gurus! Should I stop applying now and wait? If so, then how long?

Do I have too many inquiries? What is too many?

My inquiries are:

August 26, 2007 Bank Of America American Express ( $3,000 pre-approved offer on their website, but when applied recieved a 30 days review notice )

August 23, 2007 Washington Mutual ( approved $2,500 line, cash withdrawal unknown, maybe at least 20 % like described in terms letter ? )

August 16, 2007 E Loans Inc ( not approved for a car loan, asked $10,000 )

August 14, 2007 Capital One Auto Fin ( not approved for a car loan, asked $30,000 and thought they would just set their own limit )

August 09, 2007 Citi ( approved $2000 line and $2000 cash withdrawal Citi Platinum Plus)

March 19, 2007 Bank Of America ( AMEX BOFA not approved )

February 17, 2007 Dell Financial Services ( $1,500 line at 29.99% but 0% APR for 12 month new XPS deal that's why I took it, got a bump to $2,500 limit last week , probably after 6 month usage and review , thought I never asked for it )

September 22, 2006 Advanta ( don't even remember that one but looks like an impulse apply online or something )

May 23, 2006 AT&T Mobility ( told to put up a $500 deposit for a new mobile phone line) I declined to sign up, I use my father's account for the last 7 years, so I decided not to get my own at that time.

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

Let's take it as on all, because I am not gonna pull it right now just to see who's got what. So all of them.Is it too much?

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

it really isn't that many, especially if it is spread accross all three--although I have a feeling TU or EX has the majority of them, in which case those reports will be more effected by the inquries. You don't use truecredit.com and pull all three of your scores every day?

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

I thought that true credit has FAKO scores and not FICO. I don't use it because it's not real FICO.

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

It really depends on who's looking.

Looking at my TC I have 12 inqs on TU- these are all within 1 months timeframe.
The only one who denied me was Best Buy for too many inqs.  GEMB denied me because they just don't like me.
I've gotten store/gas/reg cc

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

use it for other info--don't just look at the numbers, look at all three of your credit reports. It will tell you what inquiries are on what report. You can also pull it DAILY. You see all three reports each day for $15 a month--that is an extremely good deal. Use truecredit to search your report for errors on all three agencies DAILY, then use MYFICO to buy FICO scores once in awhile.

Most people here use truecredit for daily credit monitoring of all three CRA's. They don't do it for scores, they do it to monitor daily changes to all reports.

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

TU does use FAKO,
but you can monitor all 3 reports daily for a pretty good price.

Then you pull your real fico every now and then if you think you're gonna need it.

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

Thank you all for reply. I guess nobody knows what's too much and what's not. Everyone's situation is different. I just wonder why do i have a 30 days review from last night applying. I wonder if it's a sign of too many inq. in the last 3 weeks.

Re: Do I have too many inquiries?

I read somewhere that more than 3 in a 12-month period makes a person look like they are desperate for credit.
