Do I need to dispute with every agency?

I just had my first successful dispute through Experian and went up 14pts!

The account was completely removed so it no longer exists as part of my credit history. Will this reflect on TransUnion and Equifax? Or will I need to dispute on those two as well?

Nope you need to dispute with each agency unless you had a deletion agreement from a creditor/collector.

Re: Do I need to dispute with every agency?

Thanks! I did not contact the original creditor so I don't have an agreement. It was just pertaining to some lates I had on a closed account that were showing differently across all my reports so thought I'd try my luck with a dispute and it worked!.. Do I go directly to the agencies website to dispute? I used the Experian app for this dispute so it was really easy and straight forward so I'm unsure how to do it other than that way. Thanks for your help Smiley Happy

Yes you will have to dispute with each CRA individually. Transunion and Equifax both have websites for submitting disputes. You can also call them or send the dispute via snail mail. Good luck!

If you have a  Credit Karma account you can dispute both of those bureaus from there.  I had a collection on Trans and Equifax that I disputed at the same time on Credit Karma and it went smoothly.
