My scores fluctuate between around 800 and around 845. The fluctuations depend on how much my wife and I charged that month and how many accounts reported balances.
I understand how to control what gets reported. I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. Specifically, is it likely that any of my CC lenders care? When we eventually apply for a mortgage we'll optimize both of our scores.
CC lenders:
- Citi
- BOA
- Chase
- Capital One

For me it doesn't matter, my scores can vary between 846 and 790 depending on what reports. To the best of my knowledge, the lenders you listed don't have a "super credit tier" for people with perfect 850, so after a point you are just in their top tier and it doesn't matter if your score is 800 or 850.

I would seriously doubt fluctuating between excellent to excellent credit would give any lender pause for concern. From excellent to good perhaps a tad bit.
For Most places they actually consider 750 and up Tier 1, lol. But you should be gold no worries ^^
The only thing that matters is that your score is high enough that it doesnt matter.
Focus on keeping it that way.
WTG!!!
