Do frozen CR's prevent soft pull CLI's?

Just wondering. A rep at discover said possibly so that answer didn't really help. lol

Creditors can still SP you even if your reports are frozen.

It does with Synchrony Bank...they will insist that you unlock TU even for a SP CLI.  At least this has been my experience with them...

Mine were frozen for 7 months and I was able to get Discover SP CLIs without a problem.

 

Now...MyFico 3B reports...that's another story!

I've gotten several Sync CLIs with my reports frozen... Maybe I'm just lucky. Smiley Happy

Two weeks ago i applied for Alliant CU membership, my EQ was frozen and they called and asked me to unfreeze it, they couldn't SP me. Smiley Frustrated

Welp, I guess I'll have to just wait and see. I'll just let the auto cli's come. I want to stay frozen for at least 6 months. I'll try the luv buttom every so often.

If this was your first application with them, that's why. Existing creditors can SP through a freeze.
