VERIZON WIRELESS COLLECTION account Jun 2019 $33002. Wells Fargo reported 5 late payments including 120 days 2016 JAN, FEB, MAR, APRIL, AND MAY3. BOEING EMPLOYEES LATE 30 2015 January4. CAPITAL ONE BANK USA LATE 30 2019 JanuaryThose are all negatives I have on my credit report and my scores are still slightly above the US population.I was able to remove Verizon Collection from Transunion and hopefully Experian and Equifax will remove the next few days, also Wells Fargo said they will remove those late fees, now if I remove those Two, do you think my credit scores will reach 800?Some more information about my credit report:Debt usage = A, 3% credit cards, 70% auto load paid offCredit age = A, Oldest account 13yrs, newest 5 months, AAOA 8.7yrsCredit Mix = B, I have everything other than Morgage.Credit Inqu.= A, 2, One of them is about to expire.Payment H = -C or DSo again do you guys think that I can reach 800 level if both Wells Fargo and Verizon remove those Two negatives? I would have Two 30 days late payments one from 2015 and the other one is from 2019. I might be able to remove Capital One late payment since I never missed a payment last 13 years except that 30 day.Thank you.
All of the negatives you list, items one through four would need to come off of your report before you can reach a higher score. your scores are based on many things but before you look into that the four need to be removed.
I know WF is almost impossible to get to do such a thing from what I have read on this site. The others do not look so good either. But it sure looks like you have your work cut out for you. If one of those LATES remain you will not be able to get to you goal
Thanks

Hello
Many variables interact to get an 800 score.
Below is how I reached my goal of 800 and it didn't happen quickly. In fact, it truly is a marathon/not a sprint. It took about 2 years after my tax lien fell off all 3 credit reports in 2017.
So to get there, keep the focus on these things:
AAOA (avg age of accounts)
AOOA (age of oldest accounts)
Absolutely NO baddies/negatives
3 bank cards
Utilization across the board <8.9%
(mine is 1%)
Only one CC reporting a balance
(again <8.9%)
At least one installment loan
No consumer loans
1 store card (I have Macys)
Minimal inquiries <1/12
My scores dropped 12 points to
797) when I added mortgage,
car loan & BOA CC in last
7 months
Also, keep in mind that scores vacillate--can change daily based on what's happening in your credit history.

These are what are going to hold you back:
Wells Fargo removed my entire account on their system. The card was closed 13 years ago so it should not be on my cred. Verizon on the other hand said they'll remove it, they already removed Transunion so hopefully they'll do the same on the other Two.
Capitol one and BECU are lagit and nothing I can do about then except goodwill letters.

You said WF will remove the late fees, which is not the same as late payments. Did you mean they're removing all of your late payments, including the 120 day lates?
As for reaching your goal of 800, I'm afraid that probably won't happen until your file is completely clean (no lates of any kind), no new accounts, low balances, and no/low inquiries.
My bad, I meant late payments. The account is very old. I closed it 13 years ago.
Little confused. You posted you closed WF 13 yrs ago? But you posted 120 lates 5 yrs ago? Were you paying off the balance owed after closure and was late? If thats the case then 2023 will be fall off date.
"Wells Fargo reported 5 late payments including 120 days 2016 JAN, FEB, MAR, APRIL, AND MAY"
Hello FireMedic1
Basically I'm very lucky here and Wells Fargo Screwed up and made mistake on their end, I had a credit card that I open from them 13 years ago and it was open till I closed it around 2016, that's the credit card they reported to credit agencies, now somehow they completely removed that credit card from their file and when they check on their system they see that they closed this card 2013 and I've never had another credit card with them. They did everything and they couldn't produce anything else. My card was open and had a good payment history till the begining of 2016 but I had issues at that time and couldn't pay the card for 5 months till they closed it and I paid the whole balance after 5 months.
Now since wells Fargo cannot find that particular card , they're saying they will delete the late payments because the only credit card I had with them was closed in 2013 even though it was closed in 2016. I'm fine with it and thanks God. Though I never had another card from them, so somehow they mixed up the dates somehow.
