Does Equifax pull information from other CRA's and report on their reports?
I was recently on a phone call with a lender whom was not reporting information correctly. They said it will eventually get updated correctly and they do not offer off cycle reporting. They mentioned how Equifax gets their information from many other cra's and report it the way they want to. I thought that was stranges.
Does anyone have any information on this or can confirm if this is true or false?

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but it is my understanding that each CRA reports the data that is exclusively reported to them by creditors.
This is why some credit reports are different due to the fact that some creditors do not report to all Big 3.
Scores may be different due to the unique algorithms and models of each CRA.
If the information is wrong then the creditor submitted it wrong to the CRA and they need to correct it. As you have notified them it should be corrected by the next reporting date but I would definitely stay on them to see if they have corrected it before they submit the data again.
