First - i have been reading as much as I can on the various forums/subjects and am so grateful for all of the knowledge. I have been working very hard to raise my scores after a devestating 3 years with my Husband not being able to work due to 2 different Cancers which took his life just 7 weeks ago
i have been able to get mistakes corrected , open. Secured credit card and even work with a CA for Pay for deletes. I paid off debt and reduced debt.
The CA that agreed to pay for deletes on 5 medical accounts reported to all 3 bureaus. Equifax and Experian no longer show the collections. Transunion does. A call to Transunion only got me frustrated. They stated that they make changes as it is reported to them. The CA states all 3 bureaus were notified
suggestions ?
thank you
I am so sorry to hear about your husbands passing. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
It has been my experience that TU is the slowest of the three CRA's to update. In nearly all cases, they seem to update several days or even up to a week later than the other two.
Thank you for your Sympathy and your response.

If you have a copy of letter that they are sending to CBA, file dispute yourself & upload the letter to TU. TU is slow, they are usually 2 wks or more behind my other CBAs.
Great suggestion. I will wait a few more days and then do that!
I would give TU a bit more time before disputing anything. I recently had a medical collection that was a PFD. EX and EQ had it deleted the day after my payment to the CA. TU took about 3 weeks to finally update and show it as deleted. CA stated it can take 4-6 weeks to finally disappear.
Sorry for your loss.
Many do find TU to be the slowest to update. Don't overlook prior discussions as a resource.
