Wanted to see if anyone else was having EQ reporting issues. I am sure the problem is on the EQ end and not Ebates.
Have had Ebates Visa since July 2015. $15,000 credit limit. Zero balance on card. Always reported just fine to all bureaus. Still is reporting fine to TU and EX.
About eight weeks ago, Ebates Visa suddenly started showing up as Credit limit: n/a on Equifax only. Makes no sense and I've never seen that designation on any account before. Disputed it with EQ and it was corrected in a week.
About 1-2 weeks after it was fixed, it started showing up as Credit limit: n/a again. Synchrony promised to send an update to EQ.
Apparently, they didn't, because today when I look at EQ, the account is totally missing from EQ!
Everything is still fine with TU and EX reporting.
Called Synchrony and they said they would fix it. I'm sure it disappeared because for some reason Synchrony did not respond to the dispute (maybe it got lost on their end).
Synchrony has always been really great and I do believe it is an EQ issue. Has anyone else ever seen this n/a designation on EQ or had an issue? Thanks.
Bureaus won't update tradelines like that. It's likely with Synch.
Put a balance on the card and let it report and see if it fixes it; Synchrony actually is a strange duck from a reporting perspective in my experience.

Thanks, Revelate. Really appreciate your perspective. I did have it report with a balance about a month ago; no balance at this time. I do use the card monthly.
Synchrony told me they have no idea what n/a means, said they never reported it that way, and they think it is some quirk with EQ. Weird.

My SWAG is something likely got munged on the report insertion which in theory shouldn't ever happen, but N/A would be appropriate if the limit didn't get reported (on Synch's end) or something was strange when EQ tried to import the data.
It'll probably get sorted out, wouldn't worry about it honestly. I never could get Synch to report a balance -> $0 in my case unless I let two statement periods pass... finally got irritated and just closed the card, then it reported $0 immediately .

Thanks very much for the insight. It's been going on for more than eight weeks now, with several requests by me to get it fixed. Synchrony says they've fixed it, then EQ reporting somehow gets garbled, while the other reports are fine.
My 5 other Synchrony accounts are fine and this is only happening with Ebates Visa.
I'm not concerned about whether a balance reports, but the fact that the $15,000 trade line is not being included at all in my overall credit when they list it as n/a. That's a big concern.
Now the card has vanished from my EQ report entirely and is not reporting at all to EQ. Reoprting just fine to TU and EX.
Always fun when a $15,000 limit card just vanishes.
It's been that way for a month with EQ, even though I let small balance report last moth.
All of my other Synchrony Visas and Mastercard reported for the month on EQ just fine on 4/14. This is the only one that didn't.
