I recently disputed some late payments that I thought should fall off, but hadn't. My dispute was denied, and the account was updated on my CR. I pulled my EQ report from annualcreditreport.com and when I look at this account it shows closed in Feb 2014 the payments detail shows March 2014 to March 2018 with no data reported. It does not show me anything proir to March 2014. Why would history after account closing show, but not while the account was opened? The history from March 2011 - Feb 2014 is affecting my credit scores and was when the account was open souldn't that be whats showing?

If it does not show anything prior to March, 2014 and does not show any data after March, 2014 to date, then how are derogs even being shown?
Can you post the payment history profile?
What are the actual delinquencies that you acknowlkedge, as opposed to what is being reported?
What specifically did you dispute as being inaccurate in your prior dispute?
As for closing, that has very different meaning for a revolving as opposed to an installment account.
What was the type of credit, revolving or installment?
The dispute was on a car loan and the late paments were 120 day late showing for Jun, Jul, and Aug of 2011. They did not report the 30, 60, or 90 day lates. My dispute was that if I was 120 days late in Jun of 2011 then that chain acutally started March 2011 and the whole chain of late payments should now drop off my CR. The notice I got on the dispute was that It had been updated, and I recieved all kinds of alerts that the account had been closed. EQ appears to only be showing 4 yrs of activitiy for any account on my CR, My TU and EX CRs still show the late payments and the history on the account is from March 2011 to Feb 2014 when the account was paid off. Shouldn't EQ be showing 7 years of payment history, I did view online do I need to request a mailed copy to see all 7 years? I'll try and post a screen shot when I get home tonight.
