EQ score finally jumped....

So... I was looking at my Truecredit today and look like most my $0 balance CC hit report and guessing other facots but I cant find it has cause my Truecredit EQ score to jump from 571 to 615... I know its different then myFICO but just glad to see something moving upward and hoping myFICO score improved also on EQ but I dont really want to pull new myFICO score till 1st of June... ;(

Rest of my TrueCredit scores on EX and TU only went up like 3 points... lol

If everything is reported correct then my usuage should be at 3% and once the Kay Jeweler ($3000) get posted.... I should be at 2% usuage Smiley Wink

I'm hoping to keep this up for 6-9month atleast till my BofA 99/500 graduates and hopefully I get a nice CL...

quick question... I also got another secured CC.... I should raise CL to atleast  $1500 so I dont get stuck with low limit CC in future? reading forum people say with low CL CC can cause you to keep you in certain bracket range... correct?

Re: EQ score finally jumped....

congrats on the soon-to-arrive score jump! Smiley Happy

If you are able to raise the CL on your secured card, that will be a good idea. It certainly makes util easier, and it does improve the look of your credit.

Re: EQ score finally jumped....

so looking over my TrueCredit report one by one with "More about this account" option........ and found out one of my oldest CC gave me a $150 CLI... when I called that CC company they gave that 7-10 day feedback and I still havent gotten response over 3 weeks... so i ignored it and gave up cause other CC I have like Crap1 and HSBC denied CLI also.
So that helped lower my util a veryyy little but any help works ;p

In couple months I'm going to re-call all CC company for increase again Smiley Wink

BofA is 99/500 so i cant raise limit but I will raise WF limit next month ;p

Re: EQ score finally jumped....

Congrats!

BTW, if you click "printable report" up at the top left, it will expand the whole report so that you can see all the details on every report at once. Saves you from having to click "more details" on every single one.

But you lose all the pretty green squares, though. (Or yellow or orange or red, as the case may be, lol --I've got several of those!)

Re: EQ score finally jumped....

lol thanks... ill try that next time then.

1 more question if you dont mind.... if a card reports something like "Amount in H/C column is credit limit".... is that really considered credit limit? seem like EQ use it on most CC in remark section.
I got 1 CC reporting CC limit 500 but in Highest Balance... $4 Smiley Wink
I was thinking about taking the CC and purchase a high limit item and let it report and return... will that work?? lol

Re: EQ score finally jumped....

Yep, EQ has peculiarities on TrueCredit. The way that they map the data makes things turn up in odd places. So that's why you see the actual CL in the high balance field, or whatever they call it. You also get X's instead of green squares, and numbers instead of the other lovely colors. And since EQ doesn't report the actual day of the month that things update on their own reports, then it will just show as MM/YYYY on TC as well.
