EQUIFAX......Please help

In Aug 99, I file a chapter 7 BK , it has been since discharged. The other 2 CRA's has deleted this from my report over 2 yrs ago, my question is has anyone had this problem with a BK. They  have replied by stating that it must remain on CR for 10 years. Has anyone out there had any success  with a chapter 7 BK being deleted less than this timeframe if so please direct me in the correct manner to handle this PROBLEM.

Sounds like they are reporting accurate-

CH7 stays on for 10 years.

I thought it was 7 years also. I pulled mine and it was still listed on my credit reports. It says it was discharged. I also had mine in 99. I hope when we go to get a house this summer it doesn't hurt us.

Are BK's eligible to be disputed or ask credit comps to remove them from the credit reports??

To add, the others CRA's have deleted the BK.

I did a quick search and to my suprise a dismissed BK 13 stays on for 10 years!!!!

i'm confused now, i re-read the initial post and it sounds like your chp7 bk fell off 2 of your cr's? so it's just showing on 1? i wish mine would just fall off...lol...

Yes, they were disputed  and they were removed over 2 yrs ago. That may be due to a company I hired for credit restoration.
