EQUIFAX REPORTING

hey has anyone had the problem with equifax not reporting recent payment history...i noticed that my mortgage has no "ok"s and CW is reporting to them but the history is not there....but it made sure that my lates from last year shows up though..hmmm..also...my 2 credit cards history is not reporting either...and also there is no indication that it is a credit card its left blank..i have a hunch that this is hurting my score....my theory is that if a late in that block can lower your score then an "ok" will help raise it..and im assuming..nothing there at all..does just that...NOTHING....am i wrong in this?...does it matter if it says "ok" or left blank?....this has to be an equifax problem not the creditor..any thoughts on this?..anyone?..

Re: EQUIFAX REPORTING

my equifax reports never show anything either.  i guess as long as they say Paid as Agreed, i won't make a fuss over it.  Smiley Indifferent

Are you looking at a TrueCredit report?

EQ doesn't display fully on TC, at least not at first glance. I think it has something to do with the fact that they only report payments as MM/YYYY, rather than MM/DD/YYYY, as do the other two. So you get the white boxes.

Either click "More about this account" on each individual account, or click "Printer-friendly version" up at the top right of your TC report. It will then display better. When I update TC, I generally admire all the pretty green boxes for a few moments (and glare at the yellows that still display), and then I click the printable version to see what has actually been going on. On that version, TU and EX will show as OK OK OK OK, and EQ will show as X X X X , but you can see the payment dates and all.

If you're looking at a different monitoring report, it might be similar. It's important to remember that any secondary report (one that is generated from the original maintained at the CRA), including a myFICO report, is apt to have hiccups and display errors resulting from data not mapping smoothly from one field to another.

FWIW, in terms of updates, mine are in their usual order of EX, then EQ, then TU.

Re: EQUIFAX REPORTING

yes im using true credit....but even on the myfico reports ..it doesnt show...but whats cracking me up is the fact that my mortgage lates are showing but not oks..lol..it looks like my mortgage co. only reported the lates but not the ontime payments..if i can ill paste how it shows up..but im hunching that this has to be affecting my score...because my equifax is dragging through the dirt..

Re: EQUIFAX REPORTING

Well in my case EQ is the slowest to report anything. My EX and TU are right on the money always with new acct and monthly up dates. I have to call EQ monthly it seems to get a few up dates from them.
