EX 10?

When I look at myFICO’s Credit Score Monitoring Products, version 10 rather than 9 is mentioned for EX, and yet I see 9 in a recent EX report. What gives?

And wouldn't it be nice if for updates the credit monitoring gives you both 8 and 9/10?

They mean 10 different versions. Not FICO score 10.

Re: EX 10?

Thank you for clearing it up. I keep forgetting about EX 3, maybe because I'm under the impression it was never sold separately.

TT, given it's EX 3 in your FICO 4 signature line, I was wondering what your EX 2 is. My EX 3 is one point higher than my EX 2.

Re: EX 10?

My EX Fico score 2 (EX Fico 98) has almost always been 837 but, was at 839 a couple years ago when I had a few more accounts. An old mortgage and a couple closed CCs fell off my report last year and I have not got back to 839 since.

The only time EX Fico 98 fell below EX Fico 04 was when I let my AMEX charge report 100% B/HB (July/Aug 2016)- it plummeted from 837 to 815 while EX Fico score 3 held at 830. The Fico 98 model looks at B/HB on charge cards, the Fico 04 model does not.

I do believe if I ever had only one card reporting a balance my Fico 04 and Fico 98 scores would see a nice  bump up. However, the card I am AU on will always report a balance. [side note: My AU account counts on Fico 04 and Fico 98 but, not on Fico 8 nor on Fico 9].

Note: In August 2016 I had zero revolving credit cards reporting a balance and 0% utilization. My AMEX charge card did not count toward revolving UT% nor did my AU credit card. AMEX was at 100% B/HB for both the July and August 3B reports.

The nice dip in Jan 2016 for Fico 04 was due to 6 of 6 cards reporting a balance. [dip much more pronounced with EQ Fico 04]. The EQ Fico 04 dip in July 16 was 5 of 6 CCs reporting balances. [the below charts are skewed by a month for the X axis. For example what looks like June is actually July ...]
