I've been trying to no avail to get an EE form EX. The last attempt was early March. Well today I got an alert my EX score changed. EX removed it on their own. I was going to try again at the end of the month when I was in the 90 day window. No need to call them. 54 point jump to 794 fico 8.
I'm also taking a little hit with uti. I let some accounts report a balance with 1 being at 14% uti. They all have been paid don to practically nothing so I have those to update. That and a personal PenFed loan that has to update. I've paid that below 7% balance compared to the original amount. 1 report, EQ, to go. Should be well within the 800's by next month on TU and EX. I have learned 1 thing especially though. A higher score does not equate to the best interest rate. Even if uti us low. I may be wrong, but I think some judge you on your overall cl, and consider that as factors in your cost of credit. Oh well. 790 and above works for me. I'm not going to stress over getting to 850.
Very nice surprise, congratulations!
Outstanding! Congrats on your EE. Feels good doent it

Congrats. This is probably a dense question but what were you disputing/asking for EE? Was it a BK 7 or 13? The reason I ask is my BK was filed 8/2013, so I will be in the 90-day window on May 13th. I did dispute it a few weeks ago as "too old to report, request early exclusion," but they just processed it as a dispute and came back with "verified by Pacer." I had expected that result but it was worth a shot. TU gave me an EE at 14 months out.

Mine was a chapter 7. Filed 7/25/13. I had called to ask, but they told me no EE. They never even asked for a reason. Now it's removed and I did not have to call back in. I went back and looked again. I actually gained 58 points. Best of luck to you.
Thanks all. Yes it's great to see it gone. I must admit though, while it was there, it didn't hinder me from rebuilding. Yes, there are lenders I stayed away from. But with it showing, I had not had a denial in about 6 years. And it was overturned. I sat this for those who feel the stigma will hold them back. For the most part, garden, responsible usage cand get you through many doors with it reporting.
