Re: EXPERIAN

If you haven't gotten your free credit report for the year yet (you are authorized 1 free credit report from each of the CBs each year) go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get reports from all three bureaus. If, like me, you are outside of the U.S. for the moment and you cannot get to anualcreditreport.com, you can 'backdoor' your report by going to EX and following the links to file a dispute online. Do not actually file a dispute, just go through the app process until you come to the screen where it asks you to pul your report. After you get your report, print it and discontinue the dispute app. You can do this for all three bureaus.

Re: EXPERIAN

Yes, you can get your credit report from Experian.com.  You can no longer purchase your FICO score for experian.

May I ask you why are you ordering your CR from all 3? I am not questioning your intentions, just trying to understand why are you paying for your report. Anything coming up soon?

I'm not vish, but I'll try to answer. Smiley Happy

To monitor reports, check out this thread by moderator llecs: Credit Monitoring Service (CMS) Guide

Note that these are for report monitoring. If they come with scores, they're FAKO's, except for the ones from FICO.

If you want to monitor your scores, you'll have to go with the FICO options. The TU Quarterly Monitoring product is pretty lame, IMO, because you don't get frequent updates. EQ Scorewatch is good, usually, although sometimes the wheels come off.

One option is to get the Suze Orman kit (from this site) and use it to pull your TU report, maybe mixed in with EQ if you don't do Scorewatch.

The single reports from FICO are fine, but they go poof after 30-45 days, which is incredibly annoying.

Unfortunately, the glory days of monitoring all three reports and FICO scores are long gone, starting with Experian's refusal to let us buy our scores. Of course, that did help out my wallet quite a bit.

FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007
