You can get USAA for less than 12 dollars per month if you play your cards right.

Re: Eliminate ID Theft/My Privacy Matters Offline?

I agree they have the worst customer service.  When I first joined nobody responded to my emails about how I'm actually suppose to sign in. Apparently after signing up someone is suppose to call you with your password etc but I never got that call.  And now just a few days ago, when my computer got a bunch of updates, my id number disappeared from the auto fill on my browser, so I had to email them for it since I didn't remember it and it's been four days with no response. I'll have to call them on Monday.  Besides the customer service I think the  daily monitoring and credit score pull is worth the $13/month.

Re: Eliminate ID Theft/My Privacy Matters Offline?

I got in by using the "forgot my password" link, but I tried getting in a few minutes ago and not it tells me that I no longer have credit center benefits. I was billed on May 5. I am calling agian on Monday and just cancelling. This is unacceptable. First I was yelled at on the phone, and I havent had access to my reports since Monday. What a great service. Smiley Mad

You can still join USAA without being a member of the military.  You can get a limited membership, but the benefits of that include credit monitoring.

Re: Eliminate ID Theft/My Privacy Matters Offline?

Its been a week, and as of tonight, I still cannot sign on.  I sent an email, but from the looks of the replies here, doesn't seem I will be getting an answer.  Very frustrating, considering I DO pay for it.

Re: Eliminate ID Theft/My Privacy Matters Offline?

I can't access the site either - now for 2 days. I pay $18 a month for daily reports for both me and my finance. I haven't contacted customer service yet and I dont really except much there but I still think the price is well worth it when it works. I don't quailfy for USAA but this still appears to be the better deal. I hope they get it fixed today. Maybe we can get a credit for the down time? Also to note for those considering you can only pull once every 24 hours. If you try to pull early it seems to only pull TU for me. As long as they get the issue fixed soon I like it for $9/month per person. Anyone gets in let me know, I'll do the same. I also tried logging in though other MPM portals but couldn't.

MPM does appear to be down.  Hope they get it up and running again soon.   Smiley Sad
