Email from collections...wrong person

So my wife has a very common name, and she often gets emails that are obviously for someone else.

Past week she has gotten two emails from a collection agency (True Accord/LVNV Funding) about an account that is not hers, and they list an address on file, which is not her address.

So I think it's either A. the collection agencies casting a net to see which (insert my wifes common name) responds, or B. a scam.

What should we do to make sure everything is fine though?

I've got some cards. Some are pretty, some are ugly. Some are more useful than others.

Press block. Add to junk mail. Delete.

Make sure to monitor credit reports for any collections that show up, then dispute. But likely it is just phishing so block/report/don't respond to the emails.
