Eq reporting wrong scores?

Ok so ive been desperately trying to rebuild my credit all of 2020. Myfico scores are all in the mid 600's with tu being the highest at 685. Ive paid off thousands from the balances on my cards over the year and finally have my uti below 30% agg with my highest ind being at 50%. I have 2 cap1 cards and have had them both for over 6 years. I have asked for cli on both cards a few times over the year and keep getting denied. All their reasons are kinda valid. Or were at least at the beginning of 2020. Still saying that my balance to limit is too high, and ofcourse the derogatory stuff that I cant do a thing about except wait. My last late payment was over 18 months ago. All cc except 2(out of 9) are zero. Every denial letter I get from cap1 says that eq is reporting a 594 for my score. That hasn't been what I see through any model on myfico this entire year. Myfico is telling me 639 for eq right now. Why are they reporting the same 594 all year without updating cap1? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Eq reporting wrong scores?

I don't recall exactly but Capital One could be using EQ5?

Also, they could be using an old report versus the up to date one you have of whichever EQ version that may be.

Re: Eq reporting wrong scores?

I have looked back as far as I can and I dont see any point since March I think when my scores were that low through any industry model. I just dont get it and its really irritating that I have paid off all this debt, and they aren't reporting an updated score. I mean, there's no way that a score can sit at the same exact number this long when I havent missed any payments, and have paid off this much debt.

I don't get it either. Other than reading reports from members on what they have experienced.

Re: Eq reporting wrong scores?

I use to ponder about the same question when getting deny for Cap1 CLI. Everytime i get deny and get the denial letter with a fictional score I call and the CSR say that how they see my score and nothing they can do. Its very discouraging that Cap1 uses old reports to decide if you deserve a minimal CLI.
