So i just realized that my Equifax hasn't updated anywhere since OCT 21, 2020... I have even loged in to there site and it says i don't even have a credit report... 0 active cards... 0 active everything.... But if wasnt to dispute somthing, i can see a list of current account... and recenet updates.
My FICO just closed my account due to the fact that they havent be able to pull EQ...
I contacted EQ and they said there isn't a block/freeze and dont understand why I or any one is not able to see to my score or reports.
Has anyone seen this before?
This almost sounds like a case of the 'splits'. The one time when something similar happened years ago, it turned out to be a split file. Some lenders could see pieces, others could not. Eventually, through some effort and minor escalations, I was able to have it fixed. Unfortunately, this came shortly before EQ disbanded most of their operation support team functions and the contacts I had went *poof*
You can request from EQ to send you a hard copy of your file so you can examine the data. If so, and there is data, examine it line by line and take a look at some of the reporting dates where some lenders last updated. This can provide some clues.
Also, do you share a similar name or alias with any family members?
Nobody with my name at all. I'm worried that I will have an issue in the up coming months for getting a house.
I would try to escalate and get it resolved as soon as practical. Otherwise, it may present an issue when going for your mortgage.
Maybe you should try www.annualcreditreport.com to see what you EQ file looks like?
@utmcxBeen there done that. Happened to me 4 yrs ago when SunTrust tried to approve me for a card in house. CSR had direct line to EQ and had to send in a few ID's. Week later all was well. Theres only 5 poeple in the US with my last name and EQ still had me with a split file.
Yes,
You explained my case to the extent. I can't get credit because creditors cannot get my Equifax credit report, when I login to Equifax I see nothing for my credit report and Equifax keep giving me different excuses why it is happening.
I've tried everything even Lexington Law couldn't help me to get this issue resolved with Equifax. How did you get your resolved?
