Equifax TrustedID

So I went to unlock my credit report with TrustedID and it shows a requested status.  The last time I had to unlock and lock it was instant. How longdo I need to wait?

Re: Equifax TrustedID

Their website states it can take up to 48 hours. Last time I used it a week or so ago, the lock was pretty much instant, but the unlock took about 6 hours or so. I'm guessing it depends on time of day and server load?

Re: Equifax TrustedID

It could be a toss up.  I unlocked it a couple days ago thinking US bank was going to need to use it, but it used transunion.  When I did the unlock, it was like instant.  But it looks like the website is down for maintenance, so I'm wondering if the servers just got overloaded tonight..

But honestly if you need to unlock and lock your report, it needs to be done on demand.

Re: Equifax TrustedID

When I first got TrustedID I still had TU premium monitoring that allowed me to lock/unlock both TU and EQ, when I lock/unlock my EQ from TrustedID, I was able to verified my EQ lock/unlocked on the TU site pretty much instantly even though TrustedID showed pending with the message that it can take up to 48 hours, I suspect it does in fact happen instantly even if TrustedID says otherwise.
