Hi all,
I am new to the boards but I am having a problem with my credit info. The beginning of the year I had just started to check my credit. I had started one agency at a time. Well I am able to access my EX and TU just fine. When I had tried to access my EQ I had problems and it said that I needed to request by mail. Of course I thought this was odd so I called them to find out that my name was showing incorrect. So I was curious about it since the lady said it was put in incorrectly by the lender. I then explained to her I have no credit except for an old credit card I had opened up in 2005 and then closed because one I was young and two because there was not a store around where I was moving. Also thought it was odd since it shows all the correct info on my EX and TU. She of course made me fax in all the info and then had told me that I needed to call back in a few days to make sure they received the info and to also speak to the flag department. I then had called back and spoke with a woman that said they did receive the info and that she could take care of the flag as well. I asked how it got there to begin with and she gave me some story that all three agencys flag it. I then told her I found that hard to believe considering I have been able to access my other reports and scores without a problem. I feel like something weird is going on with equifax. I have tried to purchase my fico. Even my TU because obviously my EQ is flagged until they remove it and of course it is telling me that I cant. I am at this point just frustrated and extremely confused. If anyone could help to explain this to me that would be great! Thanx!
When you say you can get EX and TU just fine, are you speaking of reports or scores? And where are you getting them?
Where you able to get a TU FICO score and report from myFICO?
I have gotten the EX and TU score and report from freecreditscore.com that I pay for and also have accessed them through annualcreditreport.com for my free one. I tried to purchase the TU from myfico had to email them because they said there was an error and they just sent me an email back saying check it on annualcreditreport.com
