I was an authorised user on a my friends's credit card from August 2019 up unitil August 2022 which has a 30 day late payment in September 2020. I disputed with three CRAs as soon as I was removed as AU. EX and TU deleted the account immediately but EQ is still reporting the history of the cad up until I'm removed. I contacted citi and they said they will continue to report the hisory for the time period I was AU.
Is there anything I can do further to get this account off my EQ report?
Thanks in advance
@jinglebells When you disputed it with Equifax, did you dispute it as "not responsible for this account" or what was the nature/reason given in your dipute?

@JoeRockhead
Yes, I disputed it as "I am not legally responsible for this accout" just like I did with other two.
@jinglebells If you did this online, I would continue to dispute using the same reason but I would call them and politely ask to speak with a supervisor if the first level of CSR won't budge. You should be able to get the late payments removed at the very least after conveying that (again) you weren't the one responsible for account in addition to having no involvement or access in ensuring the payments were made on time.

I did exactly that. The supervisor keeps repeating that the only option he can offer is to start the dispute over again (which probably wouldnt change anything) when Im trying to expain him that the problem is not with citi's reporting but with equifax, offcoure politely.
I think the problem is that EQ's system is/was classifying me as a primary card holder before the "relationship terminated" thats its currently classified as.
The main popblem I beleieve is that citi issues AU's cards with same card number as Primary card holder as opposed to other creditors like Capital one and thats messing up my classification in their system.
Citi has a policy that they supply the historical data to AU's credit report for the time period they were listed on the account as AU which is what they are doing right now.
But, Equifax somehow messed up their internal classification and is holding me accountable for this account.
What additional steps would you suggest to force the EQ to do make it right?
You can file a complaint with the CFPB.

I remember I had to get legal shield to write letters to remove and add me, this AU thing can get sticky
Going through this exact scenario with Equifax right now.. did you ever get it resolved?
Hey did u ever get this resolved? going through this right now
