Looks like you don't have enough info to score your report.

Start by developing some credit relationships. If married, and if your spouse has any credit cards in good standing, then I'd ask to be added as an AU. I wouldn't recommend doing this with anyone else. Being added as an AU will add needed history.
Otherwise, I would start repairing what you do have. I personally wouldn't tackle any OCs so as to preserve whatever history I did have, but I would go after any CAs, PRs, etc. Check out the "Rebuilding Your Credit" forum for more info on rebuilding.
I would also go out and try to get a CC to start. If the lack of history is because you are a student, then you'll have some extra options not available to the rest of us. Many CCs tend to be lenient due to the lack of history by a college student. If not, try a secured CC somewhere. I'm partial to BofA. Credit unions are good too. Check ot the CC Forum for more advice.

The only thing i do have on my report is a bad debt i have with chase thats a few yrs old...its been to about 2-3 different CA's.
I have been trying to obtain a CC and i've just been turned down left and right....the one thing i have checked with is my Credit Union which i am part of, im gonna give them a shot and see what happens.
By the way whats PR's??
If you choose to tackle repair, avoid Chase at all costs. Last think you would want is to have it deleted now.
And don't shy away from a secured CC. Even a low limit could help in the long run.
PR = public record = judgment, liens, BKs, etc.
Yea the only thing I have on my report besides a few inquiries is the Chase CC Debt, Besides that i have nothing else, lol.I have applied for many other CC's and have been turned down left and right...I am with a credit union which I dont use oftem. Im gonna contact them tomorrow morning and see what they say.
thanks again
