I went for it and did a dispute and both of my collection accounts were deleted off of experian. I am just wondering if this will help my score any, they were fairly old, but I didn't know if it was worth paying to see a new experian credit score. I am trying to get the negatives off so that I can apply for a major credit card at the end of the year. I am working the other 2 bureaus as well. Just wanted to know if anyone else had old baddies completely removed from a report if it helped at all. Thanks for the all the help. These forums have helped me tremendously.

Oh my goodness 70 points, thats awesome. Did you pay to check your score or how did you find out what your new score was?

i have score watch and they gave me update on score everytime there is an change. I also have free TU fico score from my discover and walmart cards. Good luck :-)
mongstradamus, did you dispute the charge off with the CRA, or did you ask for a GW deletion from the collections agency? OP, what were the circumstances of the collections items that got deleted, accounts that had been PIF after going to collections, or...? I've got some similar items that I think I'll need to take care of and looking to those who have BTDT. Congrats to both of you!

well with experian they auto deleted early i was shocked. They deleted it about 3 months early. Once i saw experian deleted it early i went to TU and EQ website and disputed for early deletion. I don't remember the exact wording. I wrote in the comment section if they could delete early that was pretty much it. It was an paid charge off btw.
