Experian Dispute Result

I disputed a CA item on my EX report a couple of days ago. This morning Experian sent me a response saying that the item had been deleted. While I'm happy that they responded so quickly, I'm a little suspicious. Should I contact them to find out more detail about their investigation? I'm concerned that the CA will validate the debt and reinstate the item later. It's been only 2 days and the CA could not have possibly already responded to the dispute via mail that quickly.

Re: Experian Dispute Result

They don't mail the CA - it goes thru an automated system electronically - with a 2 digit code as to 'why'.

Re: Experian Dispute Result

Thanks, Lady_Scarlet. Should I not bother then to find out what the "reason" was?

I am not a pro but in my opinion I would leave it go. The good thing it is deleted. WTG
