So, I've read a lot of posts regarding the intense stuggle of getting a hold of a live person at Experian. They make it near-impossible to get a live person and all calls are met with an automated system. I was needing to remove a remark on my credit to get approved for a home loan. It took me two days, but I finally found the solution. Posting here in case this helps anyone out:
You will need to contact the dispute department at 800-493-1058.
When calling this number you should be able to use the following prompts to connect with a live agent.
Enter the requested information and then Select option #2 (credit)
Select option #1 (credit report)
Select option #2 (dispute)
Select option #1 (dispute)
Please note after this information is provided the system will educate you on how to file a dispute online.
Once this information is given about disputes, it will allow you to continue to hold to speak to
representative for assistance.
