Experian Might Be An-l

Friend has two collections which were supposed to be deleted May 2009. They were listed for deletion May 2009 for the past year or so. After logging in this morning the two collections are now listed for deletion June 2009. I am getting the feeling that Experian is just going to keep pushing the date out every month. What would you do?

Seems like more and more people are reporting this. IMO, it is disputable. But I'd tell your friend to sit tight for the remainder of this month. I bet it will be gone within 2-3 weeks.

Just to let you know, I had the opposite happen to me with EX.  My bk was due to drop off by July 1st, and EX deleted it off of my cr  by May 1st, two months early.  However the bk still remains on my EQ and TU.  Its hard to figure these people out.  Hang in there, maybe in a few days it will be gone.

I had this happen to me. Call Experian and explain what happened. They'll remove in a few hours.

Looks like I'll need to keep an eye out as well.  I have one dure to be removed in May on EX.  I guess I'll wait until the end of this month to see if it's gone.

If you have credit monitoring, would you get an alert if an account is removed?

7...it's not scheduled to be dropped until 2012.  It's still showing on TU & EQ.  I didn't dispute it or anything.  I have no idea why they dropped it early....but I am not about to ask LOL

Sweet news on the BK drops!!! 

I have a couple TL's that are due to drop in July!  woop woop!!!!!  

*and EX has my crap 1 dropping in july too...not supposed to be til next year!  mums the word here...
