Experian Refuse to Dispute a false Claim on my File

Pinnnacle collection are reporting late every month on my file and I have never heard of them or ever received any letter or phone calls from them, but they are reporting me as late, experian said I cant dispute because the account has been verified, thats a lie, I only know about them by checking my report, according to the CRA they were hired by HSBC I do owe them, but I was never informed by either parties that pinnacle is collecting on the old debt since 2006-ANS

They are a Junk Debt collector. What is the DOLA/DOFD, on your HB card?

Have you ever disputed this account with EX?

Is HSBC still reporting? Are they reporting a $0 balance?

You can request DV, but you need to know SOL first.

If the debt is from 2006, I doubt you are out of SOL. If you DV before SOL is expired, you run the risk of being sued for the debt(you always have the risk, but DV'ing will draw attention to your account)

As the other poster mentioned, you need to know DOFD/DOLA.

I apologize for taking so long to reply.

HSBC sold/transferred  zero bal closed 4/03 dola 1/03

pinnacle bought 12/06   date reported 4/08

I never received any letter or collections from them and they are reporting me as being late???

I did dispute this before when I first saw it and exp said its a valid account.

I tried to dispute again and Exp refuse.
