Experian Website

Greetings. Signed up for the 7 day $1 trial. Lat 2 days I can not access website or even request new pw or the like. I wanted to cancel so not to be billed the $29.99. I tried calling 2 different numbers, but they will not let you speak to any humans. Instead they tell you to go back to website then disconnect you. Is the site down for all or just me? How can I cancel if I can't log in or speak to anyone?

Website is active. Have you tried forgot unsername or password?

The site is up, I've been on and off the site regularly during my trial period.  You may need to just try resetting your password to get back into their website again.

 

Once you can log back in, select your Profile, located in the upper right corner, then select the Membership tab, then at the very bottom you will see "Do you want to change your Experian CreditWorks℠ Premium Membership? Update online"  Click "Update online." then you can select the "CreditWorks℠ Basic $0.00/month" plan to change to their free plan again.

Yes tried both of those, but sends me in a circular path leading nowhere. Says can't find email, etc - They have found my credit card to bill though. Useless to me if I can't even access their website though.

Yes tried clearing cache and requesting new pw etc. I live in Japan and wonder if a foreign IP is screwing it up.

Are you sure you are using the correct email you signed up with?

Ok tried clearing cache. Tried accessing from different computers. Tried getting username emailed which it came same as I signed up for it. Tried resetting password which came to email and linked back and reset it. Try logging in and throws an erroressage saying they can't identify me and gives a number to call. Call number and all automated and explains to go to website to do all of the above. Have done the above now 7 times. Anyone have a number where an actual human will answer or how do I dispute if I can't log in and can not get a human and can not access my report??

That has to be incredibly frustrating.  They provide a mailing address that you can send a dispute to but that'll take some time.

 

Have you tried contacting them via their Facebook account?  https://www.facebook.com/experian  Send them a Message.  Who knows, maybe they'll offer some assistance?  Says typical replies within an hour.

Frustrating is putting it kindly. Ha. I have spent a total of about 5 hours over several days going in circles. I'll try Facebook route.

That happened me also when using their app, kept getting "unavailable right now". So I signed in through google and all was well.   Hope it works for you
