Does anyone know what's goin on with this?
My Capital One card is showing no info on my EX report...."STATUS: No Status". Under my statements it says "Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act". All it's showing is my Open date, Date of Status, and Last Reported Date. I didn't dispute this account, so i'm not sure what's goin on. My EQ report is fine..Idk about TU.
Nvm....I just realized I disputed a bogus charge with Cap1....didn't realize they contact the CRA's about it.

I just seems to be something with Experian lately. I just last week had to dispute a state tax lien on my report that was not even mine. You would think something as important as credit reports are to people and closer eye would be placed, but obviously not. *Edit: sounds like you'll be good to go*
.
Pending dispute flags apply to both FCRA and FCBA disputes.
Make sure the creditor also notifies the CRA when the FCBA dispute is concluded.
Update: Investigation is complete, and my account is normal now...but under "your statements" on EX, it's saying account was previously disputed and investigation is complete...reported by data furnisher. Question is....should I call to have that removed or does it make any difference to lenders?
It is recording a fact... you disputed, and the dispute was resolved.
It should have no impact since resolved means the pending dispute status is no longer in effect.

I agree, it's not currently in dispute, but has been in the past and now it's just showing that.
