Experian score

Is the Experian score provided in a denial letter a FIKO or FAKO? I was denied a CLI from Macy's and the reason was Ex score of 691 and new account

That should be your actual Ex FICO score.  You can always try for a recon using their backdoor number and explain your situation if you really are interested in creating a relationship with them.

Nah, NBD. Account is open with an adequate CL. I was shocked my score had reached 691

Ugh sorry....not enough coffe today.  I didnt see the CLI part...just thought this was a denial...was this a HP?

Remember to send a copy of your denial letter to the CRA within 90 days, and get a free CR.

Depends on the creditor but most use a FICO in their decision.  Some use an internal score.
