Experian showing my credit profile as “un scorable”??

Like the title says. I am coming up on the end of my chapter 13 payment plan and wanted to dog in and start working on my credit. I tried to purchase the myFICO plan, but got an error message saying that my Experian profile doesn't meet the minimum requirements to calculate a score.. I just purchased this product back in December of last year with no issues. I just logged in to Experian and purchased the free trial, and it's saying that my profile is unscorable, then gives me advice on opening new accounts to generate a score. The report that it gives me has at least 12 trade lines on it, going back 13 years, some negative, some positive. Any idea on why it's not able to generate a score?? I've tried to call in, but multiple numbers are giving me any options to talk to a human

Because their hasn't been any activity on your reports probably since you entered your CH13 plan.  You would need to open some new accounts (most likely some secured accounts) to get a score.

Also the Experian app displayed your EX info without a monthly plan. The montly plan is if you want your TU and EQ FICO 8 scores also.

One or more accounts on file need to show activity within the last 6 months to generate a Fico score. Some CRAs may consider dormant accounts as active while others do not.

The solution is to establish an active account that can report monthly activity. Not sure if the OP will need 6 months of reported activity (required for a profile without prior history). Since the OP has history on file, reporting activity may generate a score without 6 months of delay.

Re: Experian showing my credit profile as “un scorable”??

Even though you’ve got a history, scoring models like FICO need at least one account active in the last 6 months to generate a score. If everything’s old, closed, or just inactive due to the Chapter 13, it can flag your profile as unscorable.

Best move now is probably to open a secured credit card or even a credit builder loan,  just something to kickstart activity again. Once that starts reporting, your score should come back within a month or two
