Experian simulator accuracy?

So I went on the Experian website, I have one of their trials and have the simulator, I used it to see if paying off delinquent credit card debt would help, it says it'll boost my Fico by 25 points, have you found the simulator on Experian to be accurate?

There's way too many variables in ones credit profile. Any simulator is worthless.

+100. Simulators are honestly just a gimmick. They may help show trends, but as far as knowing an exact score change, it's impossible for any simulator to figure that out because as @blindambition said, there are far too many variables.

Re: Experian simulator accuracy?

The problem with simulators is that they don't take all variables into consideration, only the one that you ask about. So if I take out a card, it may cost 10 Ficos, but during the same month, my AAoA crosses a threshold and gives me 30 extra Ficos. Or my payment on an installment takes it below 9%, etc.

Too many variables, but it will give you a general idea of what a given action - if isolated (and they seldom are)  - will do to your profile.
