Experian website vs. my Fico

Is there any reason why Experian website have updated my scores and myfico have not? Reason being, my last two collections accounts was removed and Experian site shows a 42 point increase and there is no change on here.

Re: Experian website vs. my Fico

I am in the exact same boat. I had a collection removed a week ago, experian shows the jump (48) points but not MyFico yet.

I read in another thread that it just takes a while for the. not sure.

Id like aomeone to weigh in also.

thanks,

Brew

Re: Experian website vs. my Fico

MyFico scores update either quarterly with the report update or in between when event(s) triggering an alert, I'm guessing collection account removal isn't one of those events. If this is in fact the case, you will have to wait for the next event that triggers an update, or wait for the next quarterly update.

Re: Experian website vs. my Fico

MyFico doesn't get triggered for an alert for that on Experian.

I subscribe to the MyFICO Ultimate 3B service and to Experian.com

My experience is that the MyFICO FICO 8 updates a day or two after my Experian.com FICO 8.

Re: Experian website vs. my Fico

Is there a difference in scores and reports when comparing Experian.com and MyFico.com? I signed up for the $4.99 1st month promo on Experian.com so I have a month to decide if I want to stay with them or switch to MyFico.com. I am okay with quartlerly updates on scores but I do want my true scores and not the FAKO ones on credit.com and creditkarma.com.

Re: Experian website vs. my Fico

Asides from the FAKO scores, I think Credit Karma is very good in updating inquiries and new accounts added.  It seems to be the first one to update any changes to my report.  I have both CCT and Myfico.
