Re: Experian-who's pulling one last time?

I pulled my EX again today.  Last month, I used my Macy's card for the first time in a year, and I wanted to see if that had any effect.  It didn't.  My score remained unchanged.

I decied not to do it.  Part in protest and part in that there was probably no change in it anyway

PO'ed. I pulled Experian 3 times in a week just knowing the the credit card balances I had 10 weeks ago would have updated. NOT. 693 when I know I'm over 700. Crap.

BAH!  I just pulled both mine and my wife's and there was NO CHANGE!  Apparently, even having a recent inquiry and nearly $11K of available revolving credit removed didn't affect my wife's at all!  Bad for the one, good for the other!

Re: Experian-who's pulling one last time?

I find it very interesting how this announcement increased demand for EX scores. I believe that late last fall it was being reported that EX would be the first CRA to begin using "FICO08". Would'nt it be interesting if this summer, EX announced they would re-establish their relationship with MYFICO and use "FICO08"? Gee, it almost sounds like somebody could have planned this, to increase demand for the product. Just wondering.
FICO scores on November 17, 2014 (prior to applying for and being approved my mortgage)

EX=738
EQ=735
TU=754

FICO scores on March 4, 2015 after being approved for mortgage and buying the home, the mortgage isn't yet reporting.

I don't think the masses even know about this but I do beleive that the two parties will re-establish this business relationship.

I wish. Doubt it, though.

I think that they're just doing a heck of a job in cornering the market in a lot of consumer credit stuff.

I remember in 2007-08 when TU and EQ were having so much trouble with the stability of their reports, and suddenly members were reporting that apps were resulting in EX inqs with companies who had always used EQ or TU before.

FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007

Well, it's a business built around the dollar. Stands to reason it's all about the dollar. LOL.
