My wifes file lists an address that doesn't exist on her Experian Report. We all know how experian ties address to active or closed tradelines. Maybe I'm petty but this non existant address bothers me and I'm getting the usual run-around from Experian.
Address reported as 94161 xxxx at xxxx street xxx town, state, zip
This address does not exist. It's does not conform for the street numerics. There is no other street named the same (it's a circle). This address doesn't verify for USPS or UPS. you can't send mail to it and you can't live there. 9 4 6 1 is the correct numerics.
Experian says Cap1 reports this 94161 address. We are 100% certain as is Cap1 they have only every report 9461 to Experian, Equifax or Transunion. Confirmed via phone and mail with Cap1 for all three of her trade lines. Cap1 says it's 100% Experian incorrectly reporting. I've done dipsute via online and via mail (now on the third mail dispute) all with supporting docs (utility bills, letter from Cap1) and Experan simple will not budge saying Cap1 reports it as 94161.
How do you get these idiots to comply?
Good to know. Always thought the hard copy mail was the best way to deal with the CRA's. I'll have my wife call and dispute directly. Thanks!
