Hi,  I was looking to get my free credit report for Experian.  Is  http://www.experian.com  the actual Experian website?  They are currently offering the Experian score if you enroll in their monthly program.  I thought that we no longer have access to our true Experian FICO score.  Am I safe to assume this is a FAKO score, not the FICO?

To get a free report from each CRA, go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

You get a free one annually from each CRA.

The Experian score they offer is a score made up by EX and not a true FICO score.

You are correct that the consumer can no longer purchase the EX FICO score.

You can get any of your three reports for free at annualcreditreport.com. It will cost you at the Experian website. Those scores Experian offers are called Plus scores. They are not FICO scores.

From a BK years ago to:
8/09 TU-765 EQ- 783
9/09 EX pulled by lender 802
3/10 EQ- 800

You can do the same thing with hard work
