FARLEY STATE BANK INQUIRY!?! Who are you?

I recently applied for a Chase Freedom and that inqury shows on my EQ report. Today I noticed an additional inquiry on Transunion from FARLEY STATE BANK? The only banks I applied for in the past 30 days are:

Capital one

Chase

Comenity

Does anyone know who these people are? Mods please move if needed.

soft pull or hard? According to the FDIC site, they are not an active institution, It says they merged, but not with who. If it was a soft pull, it usually means they are looking for people to send pre-qual letters to.

Yes, thanks I checked when opening this thread but no one reported back with any details.

It showed up in MyFico so I would guess its a hard pull?

Theyre Chase  -- Dont worry about it   Same thing happen to me  I applied for Slate  Myfico said Farley Bank   but on my Transunion account it say Chase same day    dont know why Myfico say Farley  guessing its an office that chase bought out  doing the apps  and havent switched their name yet

Hi Fico Friends,

I just received an alert on my report from the same company.  I wasn't able to find anything on line but I came here and someone had the same inquiry.  I LOVE THIS FORUM IT HAS HELPED ME IMPROVE MY CREDIT LIFE.  THANKS TO ALL!!!!! I recently applied for a Chase BP card but Chase has already looked at my credit report.  Thanks for the help.  I will be in the garden for the next 2 years

guys can someone tell me what's going on ? fruad ? indentiy theft ? i got an inquiry alert on my transUnion i did not authorize !!!
