Although I know it is a tool used only by lenders, I was hoping to learn anything
from the members. Anyone familiar with the use or purpose of this great FICO product?
Thanks in advance
This is interesting. I have never heard of it, though. Where did you learn about it?
It's used in conjunction with the FICO score to better predict who can better handle new credit or more debt, however you want to look at it.
From what I gather, if you already have a very low or very high score it won't help lenders much. It is used to target those with a score in the mid range of 700 or better.

06, I found a link to various FICO products here-----http://www.fico.com/en/Products/Pages/default.aspx.
look under the heading labed Scores for this and other products.
The reason I posted this thread was in the hopes of drawing out a lending professional to start posting info
on the boards. I don't know if there are industry professional posting here or not. It would be helpful to
the My FICO community.

You can get info on almost all FICO products from any 60+yr old finance officer at any non-branded car dealership because they are usually retirees from big banks etc.
